For job seekers, you’ll need your ID number and basic details like name and contact information. Employers will need company registration details and contact information.
2. Do I need an internet connection to register on Spaan?
No, you can register using the USSD platform by dialling *120*77226# on any mobile phone. Remember, USSD is charged at R1.50 per 20 seconds.
3. How do I register on Spaan?
We prioritize accessibility! Registration is simple and can be done on USSD, WhatsApp and on our Website.

4. Is there a mobile app for Spaan?
Not yet, but the platform works well on mobile browsers. You can also use WhatsApp and USSD.
5. Can I register with a passport number?
No, only valid South African ID numbers are currently accepted. Passport support is coming soon.
6. How do I apply for a job through Spaan?
Job seekers can search for jobs on the USSD, WhatsApp or Web Portal, then apply directly by following the prompts. You must be registered to apply, and have your document verified and background checks done to be more attractive to employers.
7. Do I need to pay for jobs on Spaan?
No. Job applications are completely free. Fees only apply to verification services and Spaan Reports.

Yes, Spaan prioritizes data security and complies with all relevant laws to ensure your information is safe and confidential. We have also implemented a various security protocol across our platform to ensure that the data we collect is safe and secure at all times. See our privacy policy.
